The Weathertex range of products have been manufactured in Raymond Terrace, just north of Newcastle since 1939 using a tried and tested method of breaking down and reconstituting timber fibres into a more usable form. This unique manufacturing process produces a superior performing product to traditional weatherboards which is far more environmentally responsible and boasts a 25 year warranty against rotting, splitting and cracking.

Habitat Hardware stocks Weathertex's range of exterior boards. The SALA Group used to use and recommend a range of ply products as an exterior cladding option but have now moved to the Weathertex range of products because of its durability, non-toxicity and price competitiveness.

The exterior and architectural boards are available in smooth and rough sawn profiles.
